What is Specialty Coffee?

Coffee beans are the seeds of the fruit that grows on the coffee tree.

Specialty coffee, which is unique and grown in a region using cultivation methods suited to the environment, is generally defined as "coffee with excellent flavor characteristics," and there is a limit to the yield.

The coffee appraisers at Ogawa Coffee determine the degree of roasting and blend ratio to suit each individual coffee, so that the coffee can be enjoyed as a straight coffee as well.

Diedrich roaster

The green beans are roasted by Ogawa Coffee's experienced roasters using the Diedrich roasting method, which is suitable for roasting high-quality specialty coffee.
The Diedrich roaster was designed by coffee producers who know coffee beans inside and out, and is able to roast the beans slowly without applying excessive heat to them or burning the surface too much.
