JAJA Calendar 2025, a charity calendar for the Jamaican disability support organization "LINK UP JAJA," which I met through Blue Mountain Coffee

A calendar filled with the charm of people involved in Jamaica!

The open size is A3 and you can write your schedule, so you can use it at home, work, store, etc. The calendar is a monthly calendar and contains a mini story related to the photo. A part of the profits from the calendar will be donated to the corporation. It will be used for projects such as "Creating a place for people with disabilities in Jamaica" that supports people with disabilities.

An encounter through Blue Mountain coffee

As part of the Blue Mountain project that began in November, and as one of the initiatives of Ogawa Coffee's SDGs declaration, we have started selling a charity calendar created by "LINK UP JAJA", a local Jamaican NPO that we came across through Blue Mountain Coffee, to support the organization. Through this activity, we aim to deliver the charm of coffee and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

About the NPO "LINK UP JAJA"

LINK UP is a Jamaican patois word that is pronounced "rinkop" and means to connect or go to meet. Using the support we receive from people in Japan, we are working on a project to support Jamaicans, especially those with disabilities who are unemployed and have few opportunities to participate in society. In order to link up Japan and Jamaica, we are also selling fair trade products made by Jamaican craftsmen and introducing Jamaican culture to Japan.

A collaboration event will be held at Ogawa Coffee Sakaimachi Nishiki store in January

In January 2025, we plan to hold a collaboration event with an NPO at the Sakaimachi Nishiki store. The event will include an exhibition of "Saori weaving" lovingly made by local people, as well as a talk event by the representative of the NPO. We will provide further information as soon as the details are finalized, and we look forward to your participation.
