May is Fairtrade Month - A Passport to Connect with the World - Fairtrade Coffee

Ogawa Coffee holds Fair Trade Month in May every year, coinciding with World Fair Trade Day, which falls on the second Saturday of May. This year, with the theme "A Passport Connecting the World - Fairtrade Coffee," the company is promoting sales of fair trade products and holding events and seminars.

Ogawa Coffee's Fair Trade Initiative

Ogawa Coffee obtained a license to manufacture International Fairtrade certified products in 2003, and has been selling International Fairtrade certified coffee since 2004.
In 2019, the company was recognized by the certified NPO Fair Trade Label Japan for its product sales achievements and its many years of hard work in promoting fair trade.
This is the first time a company has received this certification in Japan.
