notNeutral / Not Neutral RIOS, an architectural design firm based in Los Angeles, USA, launched notNeutral in 2001. Developed from the four perspectives of "functionality," "relevance to objects," "individuality," and "culture," the company designs with top baristas and then uses technology in a trial and error process. It is a cup for specialty coffee that was created after studying the curve based on fluid dynamics, the ergonomic relationship between the action of holding the cup and the handle, and the optimal distance between the face and the cup to sense the aroma of the coffee.
